Alternative download of kmz files? Filefactory not working

It appears that Filefactory, which serves all the kmz files, doesn't work, or at least hasn't worked for the past few hours. Apparently it's over capacity since megaupload stopped existing. Is there any alternative way to download kmz files (FTP, HTTP)?

As an aside, I understand the rational for using Filefactory, but it's a huge nuisance to go through their service, with the waiting period, the popup ads -- especially if you need to download a good number of kmz files. Is there no way to go back to HTTP downloads or use a script to avoid hotlinking (which I guess was the reason behind the move in the first place)?

Thanks,
Tino

This indeed seems to be because FileFactory cannot copy with the former megaupload customers. The reason I use their services has nothing to do with hot-linking (and that should still be possible). I do no longer see any of their web-pages (and you should not see them; the downloads should start immediately).

I think the situation has improved, and that you can now download without waiting. Is that correct?

Great, it's working again, and as you said, direct downloads are also possible again. So much more convenient than their endless click-wait-popup-captcha-wait-tryagain cycle! :)
